Know the God you do not know
Do you know God; not just know about Him, but really know Him personally. There is knowing intellectually about God, but do you know Him as your Saviour and Lord. You cannot experience love from Him, or for Him, unless you have a personal relationship with Him. Recognize you are a sinner in need of salvation; Jesus is the only one that can save you.
Experience God's love toward you and then; you can Experience loving God
To experience any kind of God's love, the prerequisite is to be saved 1 Cor. 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
First, one needs salvation or to be born again; then the love relationship can begin. God wants us to experience an intimate love relationship with Him that is real and personal. John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. (Jesus said eternal life is knowing God, not just knowing about God). Experiencing God's love is the best you can have, and loving God is the best experience you can live.
To love God and to experience God; these go hand in hand; you cannot have one without the other. This begins the experience of knowing the God, you do not know. Experiencing loving God is the only way you will experience how God loves you. The Bible says in Matt 22:37,38 You shall love (FIRST) the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.
Rev 2: 4,5 To the Church of Ephesus: "Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. "Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place — unless you repent.
God is love. His will is always best 1 John 4:16 God created humanity for a love relationship with Him
God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances,the church, with the intent to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways.
God is also the God of justice and judgement.
In the same way that God is all powerful, everywhere at once, all knowing, and all love; He is also the one that judges sin as spelled out in the Bible. With the flood, God destroyed mankind, all except for Noah and his family because of sin. Gen. 6:5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Again the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomoarrah for their evil and wicked ways.
It says in the New Testament that in the same way as these events occurred, that the Lord will judge the world of sin in the near future. Sin that was true then, is sin that is true now; regardless of how society tries to soften it and accept it as normal; or how governments legalize it. God loves the sinner, but He hates sin and will judge everyone in due time, according to their evil ways. What man may normalize as ok will be judged by God, just like the Bible says.
John 15:18,19 "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. "If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
