Who Am I in Christ - Not sure who you really are?
Who we are relates to our identity in Jesus Christ. This is just a portion of the many truths about who we; and we should study these and be familiar with them.
For instance, the Bible tells us as believers that we are saints. We often will say we are sinners or a sinner saved by grace; an although there is merit in that, biblically or postionally we are saints. We may not live saintly as we still fall into sin and have the flesh nature within us, but from a positional standpoint we are truly saints. As example, we give people titles like Doctor or in the armed forces we us titles like General, Lieutenant and Major etc., and though people hold those titles they don't always live up to these titles all the time. We may have the postional title of saint but don't always live saintly. You can further apply this principal to the other 'I am' that we are as Christians.
There are many verses that tell us who we are in Christ; after we are saved of course; and here are a few selected passages in the New Testament.
